How this birth date calculator works
This tool uses the traditional numerology idea of a life path number. Every digit of a birth date is added together and the total is reduced down to a single digit from 1 to 9. The totals 11, 22, and 33 are kept as they are and are traditionally called master numbers.
Once both life path numbers are known, they're looked up in a fixed pairing table drawn from conventional numerology, which gives the base score. A small adjustment of a few points is then applied using the exact day and month you entered, so two couples who happen to share the same life path numbers don't all get an identical result. The same two full birth dates will always produce the same score.
Worked example
For 15 April 1990: 1 + 5 + 0 + 4 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 0 = 29, then 2 + 9 = 11. Because 11 is a master number, it stays as 11 rather than reducing again to 2.
1. Enter both birth dates
Pick the day and month from the dropdowns and type the year for each person.
2. Life path numbers are calculated
Each date is reduced to a single digit, or kept as 11, 22, or 33 if it lands on a master number.
3. See your score
Both life path numbers are shown alongside a compatibility percentage and a short explanation.
4. Share it
Send the result to Facebook, WhatsApp, or Twitter (X) if you'd like to compare with friends.
What each life path number traditionally means
These descriptions come from conventional numerology writing. They're included so you can see what the numbers are said to represent โ not as a personality assessment of anyone.
| Life path | Traditionally described as |
|---|---|
| 1 | Independent and self-directed |
| 2 | Cooperative and peace-seeking |
| 3 | Expressive, social, and creative |
| 4 | Steady, practical, and security-minded |
| 5 | Restless, curious, and change-loving |
| 6 | Nurturing and family-oriented |
| 7 | Reflective, private, and analytical |
| 8 | Ambitious and goal-driven |
| 9 | Generous and idealistic |
| 11 / 22 / 33 | Master numbers, described as intense or high-potential versions of 2, 4, and 6 |
An honest note on accuracy
There is no scientific evidence that a birth date predicts how well two people will get along. Numerology is a traditional belief system, not a tested method, and this calculator is built purely for entertainment. If you want something with actual grounding, the things that genuinely predict relationship satisfaction are ordinary and unglamorous: how you communicate, how you handle conflict, and whether you want similar things from life.
So enjoy the number, share it if it makes you laugh, and don't let it decide anything real.
